Combining the USB-232A-1 (USB to Dual RS232 Adapter) and two units of CVT-485_422-1 (Port-powered RS232 to RS422/485 converter) allows you to turn your USB port into two RS422 ports, which can be used to communicate with up to two loops (each loop supports up to 32 nodes) of RS422/485 devices. The unit uses the latest FTDI chipset and is fully compatible with Windows 7/Vista/XP/ Server2008/2003/2000 (32-bit), Windows 7/Vista/XP/ Server2008/2003 (64-bit), Win 98/CE, Mac, and Linux.
